#13: 📱 Daily Notes, Bitcoin and Environmentalism
Is Bitcoin net positive or negative for the world? Help me understand.
Hello hello!
Forgive my silence. Parenting is teaching me new lessons in prioritization + I’ve been spending more time outdoors away from keyboard so naturally some things gotta give.
It’s good to be here.
This changelog contains one new note and several updates along with it.
The new note is bitcoin energy usage and if you’re well versed in this debate…
Alongside my curiosities at this intersection, my new favorite digital product received a major update that has me fawning even more. The update includes a “daily notes” feature which seams mundane on the surface but in practice has been so helpful for my focus, workflow, reflection, and so much more.
As an example, I do what’s called Interstitial Journaling. When Daily Notes are combined with the interconnectivity of Craft—the app I’m talking about—all my thoughts, ideas, notes, projects, clippings and more are being connected to one another. It’s so fun playing with this all but, more importantly, it’s helping me think better, learn more, and explore my ideas more frequently. It’s also keeping me organized without much thinking, which is delightful. It’s been a real treat!
Alrighty! That’s what I’ve got for commentary 😛
Almost all the links below relate to digital apps, systems, tools, workflows, etc, so there’s lots of connectivity between ideas already.
Have fun exploring! I’d love to learn what grabs your attention.
‘Til next time!
